Lamborghini’s, Ford RS Focus, Lotus Elise and Mini Coopers provided the challenges as they drove around the Launch Pad and Heritage Loop circuit at great speed; or so the participants thought until they were driven around by World Touring Car driver Tom Onslow-Cole later in the day. At this point they all realised just how pedestrian they had been! Gravel Rally provided a speed rush from a completely different angle, literally! The day was completed with a full catering package and great hospitality. Paint a Picture!

The NFE Hospitality suite, overlooking the world famous Redgates Corner and start/finish line, saw us host our first event of 2012 for the British Touring Car Championships on the weekend of 14th & 15th April. Six NFE Newsbrief readers won a pair of tickets to the event and one of them, Simon Ricketts commented; “A great day out and a superb facility, I will definitely be back later in the year but this time entertaining our own customers; to spend so much quality time with customers old and new in such a relaxed atmosphere will be invaluable.” 
March saw D&S Events deliver a hugely successful event for Derby’s Mayor and the Marketing Derby group. The provision of the stage set, all AV support, entertainment, magicians, etc all fell within our remit. “Having your help was a great weight off my mind, enabling me to concentrate on producing the tickets, programme, powerpoint etc, etc. We have had 100% positive feedback.. I’m sure that we’ll be working together on this or similar in the future.”
A client asked us to deliver an afternoon activity to get a small group working together more effectively. The budget was also small but as we always say just ask and there is always something we can do. And so, the afternoon saw the group of 8 participate in our innovative ‘Paint a Picture’ event where the team is split up and have to recreate elements of a larger picture. Good communication skills should see the masterpiece come together at the end of the event and as you can see here it looks like this group really did a great job, Well done guys and thanks for the feedback; “It was fab. Thank you so much"
